ABOUT IMA

Ima is a foundational pillar of the track and roller derby at large. Marking a phenomenal 20 years on eight wheels as of 2026, her journey is a roadmap of derby history, moving from her early days with the Bakersfield Rollergirls and Derby Revolution of Bakersfield to a powerhouse seven-year run with Angel City Derby. Since 2018, she has been a vital force within Arizona Roller Derby, where she currently leads the charge as Captain of the All Stars and mastermind behind what many teams inarguably consider to be the best-executed tournaments ever hosted for the WFTDA.

Her decades of experience across elite teams have forged a signature style defined by composure and grit, and an unmatched understanding of track physics. Whether she’s guiding her teammates through a high-pressure jam or shutting down an opposing star, she is the steady hand that keeps the defense immovable.
