Spencer, known as “Smoothie” around the skateparks, began skating back in May 2009 at a small municipal park in New Jersey, where she lived at the time. She was just 5 ½ years old. Two moves and two states later, Spencer now lives in Denver, CO, home to some of the best concrete parks in the country. And with girls skateboarding bigger than ever, Smoothie is poised to be the leader of the next generation of ladies who rip.
