It’s a family trait to be ‘gifted’ with a larger head size than most humans, one size does not fit us. I was supremely pleased to see styles & colors offered in a range of sizes that would work for my people! The one thing I’m missing is a padded chin strap, this is absolutely necessary and I wish my helmet came with this, shouldn’t be an accessory after the fact IMO. Additionally, I wish Triple 8’s WIPEOUT came in sizes for all to enjoy! I actually wanted a WIPEOUT, there’s a color that perfectly matches my adult trike, but alas, these do not come in sizing to fit myself NOR my elementary aged grandchildren (insert super sad face here)

Normally I like a bright yellow/green, but this was available in hot pink, so HOT PINK IT IS. Comfortable helmet, and a nice solid visor with good wind protection. It's nice to be able to wear my regular glasses without getting bugs on them (and all the little micro-scratches that come with them). I have a hard time finding helmets that will fit, but the XXL pads worked! They started out a little tight, but didn't take long to break in nicely. My only suggested improvement would be a magnetic fidlock closure on the helmet strap.

I am on my 3rd helmet from triple8 as they are my tried and true and love their products and I don't buy my roller derby helmet from any other company. Even with measuring the Purple Glossy Deep Cover s/m was too small and I needed to exchange to size up. Customer service was super responsive and great at working with me to help exchange my helmet with their exchange/return policy. Triple8 most definitely has a customer for life with how well made their products are and how wonderful their customer service is.

After fighting with another brand helmet to get the right fit, I gave up and got this one. Out of the box it fits better than my other one and with the pads that swap out easily, I've been able to get it near perfect.
