each pad has one elastic and one regular strap, which really helps to keep them in place while retaining mobility. The padding is also really impressive, and I don't think heat would be an issue in the warmer months, they seem very sturdy and breathable. Definitely a good starter pack to go off of!

Good design and stay in place. Sizing may run a bit large but probably depends on if you plan to wear over pants or not. I did have to size down for better fit to wear with shorts.

I'm a regular sized adult, and generally find that the largest size for adults works or is too big. That was a mistake - these are sized for children, not adults. The elbow pads don't come close to fitting, and likely won't fit most adults who have any muscle. Don't assume that these fit - go through the measurements. These should be listed with a warning that the largest size is unlikely to fit most adult males.

The elbow pads I cannot get on at all. The kneepads I can get on, but they're clearly not attached the way they're meant to (the main softer velcro doesn't attach).

At least these weren't too expensive - I just ate the loss and ordered some 187 Killer Pads.

Safety first you guys. I refuse to skate without gear and Triple 8 is my go to. I decided to get this two pack of the knee and elbow pads and was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. I really like the way the pads fasten as well. Highly recommend.
