So I was skating a local skate park and just doing drop-ins on a 5ft quarter pipe. Had a great time for 30 min with no issues. Last run / hit a pebble - a pebble, and the board stopped and kept going, slamming my side head into the concrete. This thing took the full brunt. No head issues. Ribs are another story but I am alive and no concussion or TBI. It did have the foam separate from the hard plastic - but that means it did its job. 5 stars+ thanks triple8!
Just bought my second helmet for my son. Great quality and fit and helmets look good on (which is great as a mom because that way they get worn!). Ordering easy and fast and the best customer service.
My wife, kiddo, and I all have Triple8 helmets and I've been using the L/XL, but has been a little tight getting on and off. No big deal but I thought I'd try a larger size with adjustable liner thickness. I had to search down the XL size, as they have limited availability. Good buy, good quality, and even better customer service.
