I love my wrist savers. I have all three types. Won’t ride my OneWheel without them. But note that the RD series sizing runs small.
Great
Good just need to take out the plastic piece. Thick & comfortable.
I first tried this design in a skate shop and wasn't sure about them at first. They felt a little too tight and I was worried that the the heavier material around would be uncomfortable when skating. I eventually caved and later bought them once I'd gotten tired of how uncomfortable the normal "simple" wrist guard designs felt. It did still take some getting used to, as these can be a bit too snug to easily remove during a hard skate or when my hands get a little too sweaty, but wow do I really love them now. The actual rigid guard elements are a lot more comfortable and substantial than your average cheap set, and I've grown to like the almost compression-feel of the cloth material. They do get a little sweatier than my previous guards, both because they're a heavier material and the material itself absorbs more moisture, but I just air these out alongside my other pads and they're fine. They're overall more comfortable and form-fitting, more protective, and just feel higher quality than other wrist guards so I love them.
These are really well-made, however I bought extra large hoping to pull them over gloves and these are a tighter fit then size large for other 8 wrist guards.
